Advanced HPC, Inc. is a leading provider of high performance computing and storage solutions. Our enterprise-class management software ties our high quality building blocks into one easy-to-manage platform. Customized servers and workstations outfitted with the latest generation of components deliver maximum performance and efficiency. High speed parallel storage systems using Lustre or GPFS are customized for each usage. High speed and management networks are designed for each customer’s unique environment for maximum efficiency and performance.

Our team has over 100 years of experience in the technology industry. Our staff includes industry veterans in sales, customer service and production to ensure that you are getting the best solution to fit your needs.

History

 

Advanced HPC was founded in 2009 with a $20,000 loan from President, Toni Falcone’s mother. From conception, we had our doors open within two months. With 50 percent growth year-over- year for the first several years, Advanced HPC quickly became a leading provider of high performance computing technology and data storage solutions.

The HGST LAB at Advanced HPC

Our corporate headquarters includes an onsite laboratory, where we configure and test every system we sell—the OS, drivers and all components are burned-in and tested for 48-hours before we deliver them to you.

This HGST Lab at Advanced HPC is a state-of-the-art facility with a 48-ton Fujitsu air conditioning system and sufficient electric power to handle the largest deployment while still remaining energy efficient.

As a value-added service, we invite you to use our innovative facility to test and troubleshoot your systems.

Toni Falcone

Toni Falcone

President

Toni Falcone is the President of Advanced HPC and serves as the company’s Operation Manager. She oversees Advanced HPC’s partner relationships, while continually honing the company’s product and solutions focus. Toni has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing operations, 13 of which were spent in high performance technology and data storage. For many years, she likewise consulted in office/operations management and accounting for high tech, high-end jewelry, and medical companies. Additionally, Toni successfully launched and sold her first corporation, a medical transcription company, at the age of 30. Advanced HPC continues to benefit from Toni’s extensive knowledge garnered from her experience in a wide range of industries, including banking, retail, and wholesale as well as medical and diverse technology verticals. Toni makes her home in San Diego.

Leading the company’s customer service regimen, Jeff Tomlinson serves as the Vice President of Customer Relations of Advanced HPC. Jeff manages the day-to-day efforts of Advanced HPC’s systems engineering and production teams. He facilitates ongoing communications with partners and vendors to help the company stay abreast of the market’s latest technology developments. Likewise, Jeff expedites and streamlines internal communications among all Advanced HPC departments to ensure that the company maintains its best-in-class service standards. He couples 30 years of experience in customer service – 12 of those spent in high tech customer relations, production management and technical support – with an extensive background working in the retail, construction and electrical industries. Jeff lives in San Diego.

With over 17 years of experience architecting application driven clusters and storage solutions to his credit, Joe Lipman is a Senior Sales Engineer at Advanced HPC. Joe is a recognized high performance computing expert with specialties including custom HPC Linux Clusters leveraging the latest Intel Scalable, AMD EPYC, NVIDIA’s GPUs and Mellanox network technology; high performance parallel storage solutions utilizing BeeGFS, GPFS, Lustre and Panasas; and distributed file systems, purpose built file system hardware and software solutions based on ZFS, Ceph, Hadoop and object storage. He likewise has extensive experience providing cognitive data workflow artificial intelligence solutions with StrongLink as well as developing tape backup library hardware and archive software solutions with LTFS functionality. One of Advanced HPC’s co-owners, Joe lives in San Diego.
